About the Role
As an Integration and Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable integrations and automated workflows across internal systems and platforms. This role focuses on enabling seamless data exchange, improving operational efficiency through automation, and supporting the development of robust integration architectures.
You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to implement reliable integrations using modern cloud technologies, particularly within the Azure ecosystem. This is a long-term position suited to an engineer who enjoys solving complex system integration challenges and building automation that improves how systems communicate and operate.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain system integrations using REST APIs and Azure-based services
- Build and manage Azure Functions to support scalable and event-driven integrations
- Develop automation workflows that streamline internal processes and reduce manual intervention
- Design and implement integration architectures that support secure, reliable data exchange across platforms
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate business requirements into integration solutions
- Monitor and troubleshoot integrations to ensure reliability, performance, and stability
- Maintain documentation and ensure integration solutions follow best practices and architectural standards
- Continuously improve existing integrations and automation workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability
- 3+ years of experience working with Azure Functions
- 3+ years of experience designing and implementing REST API integrations
- 3+ years of experience with Integration Architecture, including designing system-to-system integrations
- 1+ year of experience in Workflow or Automation Engineering
- Strong understanding of API design, integration patterns, and event-driven architectures
- Experience building and maintaining cloud-based integrations within Azure environments
- Ability to troubleshoot integration issues across distributed systems
- Strong collaboration and communication skills when working with cross-functional teams
- 1+ year of experience with AI or Prompt Engineering, particularly in automation or intelligent workflow scenarios
- Experience integrating AI-powered services or automation tools into operational workflows
- Familiarity with automation frameworks, workflow orchestration tools, or low-code automation platforms
- Exposure to AI-assisted development or intelligent automation use cases
- Fixed Shifts: 12:00 PM - 9:30 PM IST (Summer) | 1:00 PM - 10:30 PM IST (Winter)
