This position is responsible for the supervision, coordination and development of a team of leaders dedicated to the Treasury Management group.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, develop, and manage the Treasury Management team, including sales officers, lockbox team, and support staff
- Establish clear performance expectations, accountability standards, and coaching routines to drive results
- Build a high-performance, sales-oriented culture focused on client acquisition and retention
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Drive treasury management revenue growth, including deposits, fee income, and product penetration
- Partner closely with Business Banking and Commercial Banking teams to identify and win new opportunities
- Actively participate in client calls, presentations, and proposal development for key prospects and relationships
- Monitor and manage pipeline activity, sales performance metrics, and conversion ratios
Product & Platform Oversight
- Oversee treasury management products and services including online banking, cash management, ACH, wires, fraud prevention, and liquidity solutions
- Evaluate and optimize the bank’s treasury platform to ensure competitiveness, efficiency, and strong client experience
- Partner with technology and operations teams to implement enhancements and new capabilities
Client Experience & Retention
- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction through strong onboarding, service delivery, and ongoing relationship management
- Address escalated client issues and implement solutions to improve retention and deepen relationships
- Develop strategies to increase treasury product adoption across existing client base
Risk & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, internal controls, and risk management practices
- Partner with compliance, audit, and operations teams to mitigate risk related to treasury services
Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive treasury management strategy aligned with the bank’s overall goals
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to identify growth opportunities
- Provide regular reporting and insights to executive leadership on performance, trends, and opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8–12 or more years of experience in Treasury Management / Cash Management within a financial institution
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving sales performance
- Strong knowledge of treasury products, payments systems, and banking operations
- Demonstrated success in growing deposits and fee income
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
- Computer literate - fluent in Microsoft Office programs and Excel analysis
