Parts Driver - 1st Shift at TransChicago Truck Group – Antioch, Illinois

We're looking for a Parts Driver who responsible for supporting our Antioch dealership by delivering parts to customers and for picking up parts from suppliers for the dealership. This role will work M-F, 8am-4:30pm.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver parts to customers, wholesale accounts, and suppliers.
• Check before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries.
• Assist with pulling customer order(s) when requested.
• Verify that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.
• Check payments received with the invoices for each delivery.
• Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Request recipient’s signature on each delivery entry.
• Unload truck each night. Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Help with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and retail accounts.
• Provide occasional assistance in the warehouse as needed.

Education and/or Required Experience:

• Previous commercial driving experience required.
• One plus years industry experience a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation: $20-$25/hr. Hourly rate will be determined based on experience, competencies, certifications and education.
