About This Position
Mission of the Role
To build relationships with financial advisors by initiating outbound conversations, educating them on Pathfinders’ career-first, ROI-driven approach, and scheduling qualified partnership meetings.
This role fuels strategic alliances that drive long-term client referrals.
Core Responsibilities
Outbound Prospecting (Primary Function)
- Conduct daily cold calls to financial advisors, RIAs, wealth managers, and planners
- Identify firms serving families with high school–aged children
- Navigate gatekeepers and decision-makers
Conversation & Positioning
- Lead with insights that resonate with advisors:
- Rising college costs
- Student debt impact on family wealth
- Lack of career clarity in traditional planning
- Clearly articulate Pathfinders’ differentiator:
- We start with career outcomes first
- Then align education + financial ROI
Appointment Setting
- Schedule introductory partnership meetings with Pathfinders leadership
- Qualify advisors based on:
- Client demographic fit
- Interest in value-added services
- Openness to collaboration
CRM & Pipeline Management
- Track all outreach activity
- Maintain notes on conversations and follow-ups
- Execute consistent follow-up cadence
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Calls per day/week
- Conversations with qualified advisors
- Meetings scheduled
- Meeting show rate
- Partnership conversions
