This senior leadership role is ideal for a strategic, relationship-driven professional with extensive experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) sector. You will develop and maintain high-level client and partner relationships globally, leveraging your expertise to position the organization as a trusted partner for technology-driven solutions. The role involves leading business development initiatives, guiding solution-oriented selling, and providing market intelligence to drive growth across multiple verticals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor technical leaders, and contribute to the firm’s long-term strategy in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with global impact.
- Develop and manage global client and partner relationships to grow market share and establish the organization as a preferred partner
- Lead targeted project pursuits and strategic business development within multiple verticals, aligning client objectives with service offerings
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with client organizations lacking in technology services
- Collaborate with leadership to plan annual sales and client relations strategies, ensuring alignment with growth objectives and service capacity
- Gather market intelligence, map client organizations, and monitor competitive positioning to inform proposal strategies and solution offerings
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to strengthen visibility and relationships
- Apply solution-oriented selling techniques, actively listening to client needs and translating them into tailored service solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or related field
- 15+ years of experience in sales, business development, or client relations with a strong track record of exceeding targets
- Established network and experience within the AEC industry
- Deep understanding of professional services procurement, including RFPs, RFQs, proposals, and contract processes
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Results-driven, highly ethical, and able to manage multiple accounts and pursuits simultaneously
- Strong relationship-building skills and comfort engaging executive-level stakeholders
- Highly autonomous and proactive, with the ability to mentor and influence cross-functional teams
