Electrical Field Supervisor at SST Direct – Fairfield, California

DIRECT HIRE: An awesome opportunity for an experienced Electrical Field Supervisor to join a dynamic team in Solano County. The Electrical Field Supervisor oversees daily field operations for electrical construction and maintenance projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution. This role requires strong leadership skills, hands-on experience supervising Union Electricians, and a solid understanding of project workflows, schedules, and labor coordination.

Salary: $100K - $150K
Schedule: M - F, Full-time +OT

Role & Responsibilities:

• Travel to various job sites
• Direct, coordinate, and supervise daily activities of union electrical crews along with sub-contractors
• Ensure compliance with IBEW labor standards and work rules
• Interpret electrical drawings, plans, and project specifications
• Coordinate with project management on scheduling and manpower forecasting
• Track progress and maintain accurate daily logs and field reports
• Enforce OSHA, NFPA 70E, and company safety policies
• Interface with contractors, inspectors, and internal leadership

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• California State Certification
• 12+ years of experience in the electrical construction industry
• Experience supervising Union Electricians
• Understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and construction practices in Commercial projects, preferably in Healthcare or Public Works
• Familiarity with IBEW labor agreements
• Valid California Driver’s License
• OSHA 30 preferred

COMPUTER SKILLS:

• Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, (i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Build/Plan grid
• Navis works
• Timekeeping systems (Portal/Viewpoint)
