Description:
Position Overview: The Production Team Member is a valuable part of our production team packaging the industry’s finest coffee. Their performance is critical in ensuring production quotas are met in a timely fashion while first observing the highest standards of safety and quality. You will need to be reliable and punctual.
The working hours for this position are Mon-Fri 7:30am - 4:00 pm.
What you will do:
Work cooperatively with the production team to ensure workplace safety and product quality while meeting production goals
Complete packaging tasks such as case filling, box assembly, and pallet stacking
Comply with all written Workplace Safety rules and other safety requirements and standards consistently
Comply with all written food safety Good Manufacturing Practices and other requirements and standards consistently
Report all safety and quality concerns to Leadership
Work on a packaging line with consistent speed and accuracy
Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
Perform assigned cleaning and sanitation tasks to ensure a clean and safe work area
Perform assigned material management tasks to ensure an efficient, organized, and safe work area
Use tools and equipment correctly and maintain with care
Willingness to comply with all safety rules
Report any tool and equipment issues to Leadership
Follow all written and verbal instructions
Attend all safety and production meetings and trainings
Demonstrate ability to perform tasks using computer applications
Demonstrate ability to perform production quality monitoring and reporting tasks
Willingness to work overtime as needed including Saturdays

Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience working in an industrial production facility
Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals
Basic math, reading, and writing skills
Basic computer skills
Preferred:
At least 1 year of food manufacturing experience is strongly desired
Physical Demands:
The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking in addition to the following:
Able condition to work 8 hour shifts while standing, lifting, bending, and reaching
Must be able to work on your feet over 9 straight hours
Able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive, and lift up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis
Must be able to lift 80 pounds 20% of the shift
Must be able to endure constant leaning and bending during shift
Must be able to handle/move up to 750 pound bins on casters
Physical Requirements:
The physical requirements for this position include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements must be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodation.

The target annual base salary range for this position is $17– $19. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the applicant’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education, certifications or licenses, other legitimate non-discriminatory business factors, and the geographic location of the role. In addition to base pay, individuals in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
