Warehouse Associate at Verita Telecommunications Corp – Coopersville, Michigan

Job Summary:
Verita is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support our telecommunications operations. This role is responsible for handling, organizing, and distributing materials used for fiber and utility construction projects. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has experience with inventory management and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of telecom materials (fiber optic cable, conduit, hardware, etc.)

• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory in an efficient and accurate manner

• Pick, pack, and prepare materials for field crews and job sites

• Track inventory levels and assist with cycle counts and audits

• Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other equipment (if certified)

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment

• Coordinate with project managers and field teams to ensure timely material delivery

• Utilize inventory management systems and Microsoft Office tools for tracking and reporting

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred (telecommunications or construction industry a plus)

• Familiarity with fiber optic materials and equipment is a plus

• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (or willingness to be trained)

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, inventory systems)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

• Valid driver’s license preferred

Preferred Certifications:

• Forklift Certification

• OSHA 10

Work Environment:

• Warehouse setting with occasional outdoor exposure

• Fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting telecom construction projects
