We are seeking a dynamic Jira/Confluence Administrator who combines technical expertise with exceptional interpersonal skills. This role requires someone who can manage and optimize our collaboration tools while serving as a trusted resource and advocate for teams across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, administer, and maintain enterprise Agile toolsets supporting sprint planning, backlog management, reporting, and workflow automation.
  • Manage secure authentication solutions and enforce Zero Trust access models for tool environments.
  • Build and optimize workflows, automation rules, permissions, and user groups to align with Agile and SAFe practices.
  • Lead migration and integration efforts between cloud and on-prem environments for Agile tool platforms.
  • Administer and configure Jira and Confluence instances, including user management, permissions, workflows, and custom fields
  • Maintain system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement upgrades and patches
  • Create and manage project templates, dashboards, and reporting structures
  • Support additional collaboration tools such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, Trello, or other productivity platforms
  • Develop and maintain integrations between various tools and systems
  • Ensure data integrity, backup procedures, and security compliance
  • Provide friendly, patient support to users across all skill levels and departments
  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and create documentation for new features and best practices
  • Act as the primary point of contact for tool-related questions and requests
  • Gather user feedback and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Champion user adoption of new features and process improvements
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their workflows and optimize tool configurations
  • Facilitate discussions between stakeholders to resolve conflicting requirements
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve team productivity
  • Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical team members
  • Genuinely enjoys helping others and finds satisfaction in enabling team success

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree requirement in relevant fields (IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related)
  • 3+ years of experience administering Jira and Confluence
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management principles
  • Experience with additional collaboration tools (Slack, Teams, Notion, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Proven track record of building positive relationships across diverse teams
  • Problem-solving mindset with patience for troubleshooting user issues
  • Basic scripting knowledge (JQL, Groovy, or similar) preferred
