This role provides an exciting opportunity to design and deliver innovative technical solutions that address client needs and support organizational growth in the public health and civic healthcare space. The Solution Architect will lead proposal development, engage with technical and operational teams, and ensure that solutions are feasible, compliant, and aligned with strategic objectives. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and external clients to showcase capabilities, craft compelling proposals, and guide technical teams through design challenges. This position combines hands-on solution design with leadership, mentorship, and client-facing responsibilities. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, remote-first environment, balancing multiple opportunities and delivering impact across federal growth initiatives.
Accountabilities:- Develop technical solutions for federal proposals and client opportunities, highlighting unique capabilities and methodologies
- Lead cross-functional teams, including SMEs and technical staff, to create compliant and innovative responses
- Contribute to customer-facing materials, including demos, presentations, proposals, and white papers
- Translate capture strategies and operational capabilities into persuasive and actionable solution content
- Engage directly with clients to demonstrate solutions, foster relationships, and introduce new technologies
- Mentor team members and provide strategic guidance throughout the proposal and solution development process
- Apply modern software development practices, including agile methodologies, product management, DevOps, and human-centered design
- Ensure solutions are practical, feasible, and aligned with client needs while adhering to compliance and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in solution development, with a proven record supporting federal proposals
- Strong expertise in agile, human-centered design (HCD), and DevSecOps practices; familiarity with Digital Services Playbook is a plus
- Knowledge of modern cloud architectures, including frontend, backend APIs, and data-intensive systems
- Experience in product management, human-centered design, and translating complex technical concepts into clear proposals
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor team members
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing technical approaches and management plan content
- Comfortable navigating complex, dynamic environments and managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HHS operating divisions, especially CMS
- Knowledge of healthcare data interoperability standards (e.g., FHIR)
- Experience with enterprise case management platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Pega, ServiceNow, Appian)
- Exposure to AI solutions, including Large Language Models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain)
