Personal Care Assistant - (Female Caregiver)

Location: Lexington Ky
Pay: $18 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

We’re currently seeking a Personal Care Assistant to provide one-on-one care and meaningful companionship to a wonderful female client living with Alzheimer’s disease. This role is ideal for someone who leads with empathy, understands the importance of dignity and patience in caregiving, and enjoys creating joy in daily routines.
What You’ll Do
• Provide full assistance with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Support mobility by assisting with walking (using a cane), transfers, and fall prevention.
• Offer gentle redirection, maintain a structured daily routine, and engage the client in activities such as music and conversation.
• Prepare nutritious meals, assist with feeding as needed, and ensure dietary safety.
• Manage light housekeeping, laundry, and organization to maintain a clean and peaceful environment.
• Provide reminders and supervision for medication (pre-organized weekly).
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments, ensuring comfort and safety while traveling.
What We’re Looking For
• Female candidate with experience supporting individuals
• Demonstrated patience, compassion, and strong communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Reliable transportation for local errands and appointments.
