About the RoleBohler’s Melville, NY office is seeking an Engineering Technical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. In this role, you’ll support engineering production, print operations, and quality tracking to help deliver land development projects throughout Long Island.You’ll serve as the go-to resource for keeping plans organized, equipment functioning, and workflows on schedule, ensuring teams have what they need, when they need it.
What You’ll Do
  • Manage print production using KIP and HP SmartStream systems, serving as the office resource for plotters and related equipment
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and maintain supplies to keep production running smoothly
  • Prepare, sign, and seal physical and electronic engineering plans
  • Support quality control tracking by updating logs, reviewing checklists, and coordinating with team members on missing items
  • Maintain accurate records, scan and archive files, and support overall document organization

What You’ll Bring
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1+ years of experience supporting a team in an administrative or technical support role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive mindset and strong follow-through
  • Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information

Pay TransparencyActual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.The base pay range for this role is $25 – $34 per hour.
