As a Sr Yield & Revenue Optimization Manager, you will lead the strategy and execution of inventory monetization to maximize advertising revenue across multiple demand channels. This role blends analytical rigor, commercial acumen, and hands-on operational expertise to optimize pricing, packaging, and inventory allocation. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Ad Operations, Product, and Finance teams to drive growth, enhance margin efficiency, and ensure effective programmatic and direct revenue performance. Success will be measured by your ability to translate complex data into actionable yield strategies, identify optimization opportunities across regions, and influence cross-functional stakeholders. The position offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where strategic thinking, data-driven insights, and creative problem-solving directly impact revenue outcomes. You will also contribute to the evolution of revenue analytics frameworks and monetization experiments that shape long-term business strategy.
- Develop and execute inventory monetization strategies to maximize yield across all demand channels, including direct, programmatic, PMP, and open exchange
- Optimize pricing floors, packaging, allocation, and promotional strategies to balance fill rate, CPM, and overall revenue performance
- Analyze demand mix and regional inventory performance to identify opportunities for incremental yield and efficiency
- Manage programmatic revenue growth, including Preferred PMP, PG revenue, and Open Exchange optimization levers
- Support ad hoc revenue deep dives, business case development for new product initiatives, and cross-functional monetization projects
- Build dashboards and reporting frameworks to track KPIs such as eCPM, fill rate, RPM, ARPU, and viewability
- Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, Ad Ops, and Finance teams to ensure revenue commitments are met and monetization strategies are executed effectively
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in digital advertising, programmatic, ad operations, or yield management
- Strong understanding of SSPs, DSPs, exchanges, header bidding, and ad server dynamics
- Advanced proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategic recommendations
- Familiarity with ad servers (e.g., GAM) and monetization platforms
- Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced media or technology environments
- Preferred: SQL proficiency, experience with A/B testing frameworks, CTV/video/ad format monetization, and managing contractor support
