Description:

The Sandwich Lead serves as the lead sandwich maker within our Prepared Foods elevated deli program and is responsible for setting the tone on the station through strong daily execution, product quality, and consistency. This role helps maintain high standards in sandwich preparation, station organization, food safety, cleanliness, and presentation while supporting a consistently strong sandwich program day-to-day.

ServSafe certification preferred.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.

Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and push/pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.

What you will do:

Lead daily execution of the sandwich station during service.
Set and maintain standards for sandwich build, quality, and consistency.
Prepare made-to-order sandwiches to Plum Market standards.
Deliver exceptional Guest Service through quality, consistency, and presentation.
Support Team Members on proper technique, station flow, and daily execution.
Ensure the station is clean, stocked, organized, and operating efficiently.
Monitor product freshness, quality, and presentation throughout the day.
Support prep, service, and closing procedures.
Follow all Plum Market policies, food safety standards, and standard operating procedures.
