Experienced Primary Caretaker Needed – Longview, TX

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable CNA-certified caretaker to provide one-on-one care for a single patient with Stage 4 Sundowner’s Dementia in Longview, Texas. The patient is very active during the night, so the ideal candidate must be hands-on, physically capable of safely transferring the patient, and comfortable working overnight shifts.

We prefer to hire one reliable full-time 1099 independent contractor, but we are also open to hiring two part-time caretakers to help ensure consistent round-the-clock coverage.

Available Shifts:

Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Wednesday & Thursday)

Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Saturday & Sunday)

Requirements:

Current CNA certification

Experience working with dementia patients (especially Sundowner’s)

Ability to safely assist with transfers and hands-on care

Reliable transportation

Authorization to work in the United States

Ability to pass a background check

Professional attitude, strong attention to detail, and excellent punctuality

Personal and professional references (will be verified)

Pay: $20.00 per hour with availability for overtime and benefits provided through Staycare
