We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Digital
Marketing Specialist will support campaigns through content creation and cross-channel execution that strengthens Merchology’s brand presence, promotes retention, and helps drive qualified leads for customer acquisition. This position is a great opportunity for someone with early digital marketing experience who wants to grow their skills across multiple channels in a fast-growing eCommerce environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
A successful Digital Marketing Specialist will show skill in the following areas:
- Support execution of multi-channel communication plans with direction from Marketing Manager including lookbook launches, ongoing campaigns, and seasonal initiatives across email, websites, social, paid, and print channels.
- Create compelling messaging and content primarily for email, website, social, paid, and print channels (ex. LinkedIn newsletters, online articles, email copy)
- Help coordinate marketing efforts and create content that supports customer acquisition and retention in collaboration with the Sales and Ecommerce teams.
- Partner closely with Product Strategy, Brand Activation, and Customer Success teams to develop communications materials to support cross-functional initiatives, including both broad marketing initiatives and targeted account-based efforts.
- Develop an understanding of the CRM lead lifecycle to support lead tracking, campaign coordination, and updates to marketing channels (ex. Automated email programs).
- Support website content updates (ex. articles) and SEO/GEO initiatives that improve Merchology’s organic visibility to help drive qualified traffic to Merchology.com.
- Report on marketing performance metrics across channels, primarily email, social, and lead activity, to monitor communication effectiveness using performance data.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and tailor messaging across channels.
- Experience executing communication plans for campaigns and cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and content best practices.
- Familiarity with marketing tools such as CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and CMS; experience with HubSpot and Shopify is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities independently, and adapt to new content trends.
- Proactive, enthusiastic self-starter with a creative approach to problem solving.
- Ability to successfully contribute and collaborate in both in-person and remote work environments.

- Remote hybrid role: Three days onsite and two optional remote days.
Salary:
- $55,000 - $62,000
