This role offers a unique opportunity to lead enterprise business development in the diagnostics, biotech, and pharmaceutical sectors. The Vice President will drive strategic growth by identifying new market opportunities, developing relationships with senior executives, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. You will combine strategic vision with tactical execution, collaborating with internal teams to influence product development, client engagement strategies, and revenue goals. This position requires a proactive, results-driven leader comfortable operating in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. Success in this role depends on leveraging industry networks, understanding market dynamics, and delivering measurable business impact. The role also involves representing the organization at industry events and providing thought leadership to prospective clients.

Accountabilities:
  • Build, expand, and manage enterprise client opportunities across diagnostics, pharmaceutical, and biotech sectors.

  • Own all stages of the sales cycle, from lead discovery and engagement to contract negotiation and closure.

  • Develop compelling pitch materials, proposals, and sales presentations tailored to client needs.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with senior executives, gaining referrals and creating trusted partnerships.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decisions.

  • Represent the organization at conferences, webinars, and industry events to enhance visibility and credibility.

  • Track and report business development metrics, KPIs, and revenue forecasts to executive leadership.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in revenue growth and business development within diagnostics, health tech, or life sciences.

  • Proven track record of generating and closing enterprise-level deals, managing complex sales pipelines.

  • Strong network of industry connections and ability to leverage relationships to drive new business opportunities.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Proficiency in developing sales pitch decks, proposals, and strategies to successfully engage clients.

  • Familiarity with AI tools to accelerate opportunity identification, client insights, and value proposition development.

  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.

  • Highly organized with strong pipeline management skills and familiarity with CRM and sales productivity tools.

  • Self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
