Position Overview:

As a Garage Door Technician Assistant, you’ll support lead technicians in the repair, installation, and maintenance of both residential and commercial overhead doors. This entry-level position is ideal for someone mechanically inclined and eager to learn the trade. You'll gain hands-on experience and receive on-the-job training with opportunities for advancement.
This is a full-time, W2 position offering hourly pay of $16–$18, full benefits, and a consistent work schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Assist lead technicians with garage door installation, repair, and service (residential & commercial)
• Prepare tools, materials, and job sites for daily work
• Perform basic tasks under supervision, such as assembling components, running wires, or removing old equipment
• Help maintain equipment and keep vehicles/job sites clean and organized
• Follow safety procedures and wear proper protective equipment
• Communicate clearly with the lead tech and customers as needed
• Learn and grow your skills with on-the-job training

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, typically between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
