$18–$20 per hour

PostScan Mail and Certifix Live Scan are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Operations & Customer Support Specialist to join our team at our Long Beach office.

This location serves as a PostScan Mail primary hub for mail processing and a Certifix Live Scan office providing fingerprinting services. The role combines office operations, customer service, and technical support.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, handling operational tasks, and supporting both in-person and remote customers.

Responsibilities

Mail Operations (PostScan Mail)

  1. Receive and process incoming mail and packages
  2. Scan and upload mail items into the virtual mailbox system
  3. Fulfill customer requests such as mail forwarding, scanning, shredding, and storage
  4. Maintain organization and security of mail items
  5. Assist with operational tasks related to the Long Beach mail hub

Fingerprinting Services (Certifix Live Scan)

  1. Assist applicants with fingerprinting appointments
  2. Capture digital fingerprints using Live Scan equipment
  3. Verify applicant identification and documentation
  4. Ensure compliance with fingerprinting procedures and regulations

Customer Support

  1. Provide phone and email support for Certifix applicants
  2. Assist customers with scheduling fingerprinting services and directing them to nearby locations
  3. Support the Certifix operator network with questions related to the fingerprinting process
  4. Respond to general inquiries and help resolve service issues

Mobile Events

  1. Assist with mobile fingerprinting events when scheduled
  2. Help prepare equipment and travel to event locations as needed
Qualifications
  1. Strong customer service and communication skills
  2. Comfortable answering phones and assisting customers
  3. Detail-oriented and organized
  4. Ability to multitask and handle operational tasks
  5. Basic computer skills
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment

Preferred:

  1. Experience in customer service, office operations, shipping/mail services, or administrative roles
  2. Experience with identity verification or fingerprinting services

  1. Starting pay: $18–$20 per hour
