Southwoods Health is seeking professional and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our growing clinical teams. We currently have multiple positions open across our Specialty practices.

  • Full-Time, Monday – Friday
  • Day Shift Only (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
  • NO Evenings | NO Weekends | NO Holidays


Essential Duties:
  • Clinical Support: Partner with physicians to assist with clinical procedures within the LPN scope of practice and perform Point of Care (POC) testing.
  • Patient Communication: Manage clinical phone lines, address medical inquiries, and relay diagnostic results to patients per physician instructions.
  • Care Coordination: Schedule clinical procedures and follow-up appointments; ensure all necessary lab reports and records are compiled for hospital procedures.
  • Medication Management: Accurately process prescription refill requests through the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Environment of Care: Maintain a professional, welcoming atmosphere and complete safety (EOC) rounds to ensure office efficiency.
  • Compliance: Uphold strict HIPAA standards and ensure all practice processes meet regulatory requirements (OSHA, ODH, TJC).
Qualifications:
  • Licensure: Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Ohio.
  • Certification: Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1+ years of direct patient care experience.
    • 3 years of experience in a physician's office or ambulatory setting is highly preferred.
    • Previous EMR experience is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, empathy, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
