We rely on high-quality data and meaningful insights to support our systems, solutions, and business decisions. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing data, interpreting results, and delivering actionable insights that help drive informed decision-making across the organization. You will partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand data requirements, develop analytical solutions, and communicate findings through clear reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
The Data Analyst reports to the Director of Enterprise Applications and works closely with senior members of the IT team as well as cross-functional stakeholders throughout the organization to support data-driven initiatives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Extract, clean, preprocess, transform and load data from various sources.
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Develop scripts and workflows to automate data collection and process tasks.
- Apply statistical and analytical techniques to derive insights from complex datasets.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns and anomalies.
- Conduct hypothesis testing and predictive modeling to support business objectives.
- Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards, reports, and presentations.
- Ability to communicate analytical findings and recommendations to non-techincal stakeholders using data visualization tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver actionable insights.
- Identify and address data quality issues and discrepancies.
- Implement data quality controls and monitoring mechanisms.
- Business Intelligence and Decision Support.
- Partner with business units to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Analyze business processes and operations to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide decision support through ad-hoc analysis and scenario modeling.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics.
- Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of work experience in the field of data analytics.
- Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of machine learning and data mining techniques is desirable.
- Experience working with APIs.
- Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced an agile environment.
- A passion for data analytics and BI with a knack for finding innovative solutions.
- A talent for design with a keen eye for detail, structured thinking, and best practice.
- Both architectural and hands on, with the ability to specify and build.
- Quick learner that will understand our business requirements to create unique solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a plus.
- Hands on ADF, Azure Factory, Datalake and Power BI experience.
- Professional certification (Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate).
