Help Universities Identify Their Next Generation of Donors!
Colleges and universities today face a growing challenge.
Campaign revenue is increasingly concentrated among a small number of major donors, while the pipeline beneath those donors often remains thin.
Advancement leaders know their next generation of transformational donors already exists within their alumni communities. The challenge is identifying those donors early — and engaging them meaningfully.
Publishing Concepts, LP (PCI) helps institutions solve that challenge.
Through PCI and our StoryCause fundraising division, we partner with universities and nonprofit organizations to capture alumni and donor stories at scale, transforming those conversations into actionable donor insight.
These insights help institutions understand who is ready to give more, why they care, and how to engage them effectively.
For more than 100 years, PCI and its predecessor organizations have partnered with mission-driven institutions to strengthen alumni engagement and preserve the stories that shape communities.
Today, PCI is expanding how institutions leverage storytelling and donor insight to strengthen fundraising pipelines and uncover leadership and legacy donors earlier.

How PCI’s Model Works
PCI’s partnerships are typically delivered through large-scale alumni engagement initiatives, including our flagship Oral History Project and alumni directory programs.
Through these initiatives, alumni are invited to share their personal stories about how the institution shaped their lives. These conversations generate meaningful engagement and valuable institutional insight.
Many alumni choose to purchase a beautifully crafted publication or commemorative keepsake. Alumni participation funds the program, so there is no cost to the university.
This model allows institutions to engage thousands of alumni, capture meaningful donor insights, and strengthen their fundraising pipelines without requiring institutional budget.
