About the Role:

The Director of Admissions plays a critical leadership role in developing, managing, and optimizing the admissions process across the organization. This individual will lead the admissions team, implement effective intake strategies, and ensure every prospective client receives a compassionate, efficient, and professional experience from their very first interaction with Agape.

This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for helping individuals access life-changing care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic admissions initiatives to meet organizational intake goals.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Admissions Team, including training, coaching, and performance evaluations.

  • Ensure all inquiry calls are answered promptly, professionally, and within three rings whenever possible.

  • Oversee the call management process for all admissions representatives.

  • Ensure accurate collection of required consents, identification, and financial documentation needed for admission.

  • Coordinate and schedule prospective client screenings and assessments.

  • Collaborate daily with Utilization Review, Clinical, and Medical teams regarding authorizations, approvals, and denials.

  • Track, analyze, and report admissions data and performance metrics to senior leadership.

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations, including HIPAA and confidentiality standards.

  • Represent the organization at community and marketing events.

  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment.

  • Monitor and report on daily admissions metrics and organizational goals.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational success.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited university

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare, behavioral health strongly preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365

  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Dazos, Salesforce, or similar systems

  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality laws

  • Strong organizational and workflow management skills

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

  • Ability to build strong rapport with prospective clients, families, and referral partners
