At Flock we do insurance very differently. We're nearing 1 billion connected, insured miles.
Meaning our real-time, data-driven approach enables us to price connected vehicle insurance and assess risk better than ever before, giving fleet owners the insights they need to improve safety. We dont just pay claims; we help our customers prevent them. We now insure hundreds of fleets in the UK, including the likes of Amazon, DPD, Uber and Bolt.

THE ROLE
At Flock, we’re on a mission to make the world quantifiably safer, and our brokers play a crucial role in making this vision a reality. We’re looking for an ambitious Broker Development Manager to accelerate our distribution through brokers. In this role, you’ll maximise existing broker relationships and develop new ones, joining our fast-paced distribution team right at the heart of Flock’s mission.

WHAT WE THINK IS MOST EXCITING ABOUT THE ROLE:
Working with a diverse network of brokers, you’ll develop new ways to drive engagement and differentiate us from other insurers, including getting involved with specific deals to help deliver on our targets. By championing Flock’s innovative connected fleet proposition, you’ll work with our brokers to help fleets improve their safety, reduce their insurance costs, and ultimately help them win!
A LITTLE MORE ON WHAT YOULL BE DOING (WITH OUR COACHING, TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT) - Build Great Relationships with Our Brokers - understand and engage with our network of fantastic brokers.
- Drive Growth - identify opportunities, drive new business submissions and support with winning deals.
- Product Expertise - become an expert on the Flock product, and showcase the amazing benefits to our brokers.
- Represent Flock’s Distribution Team - both internally and externally, be an active and engaged member of the distribution team, working with internal teams to ensure a high level of service to our brokers and telling the world outside how great Flock is.
- Help Brokers Get Onboard - make joining the Flock journey a breeze! Support brokers with onboarding, coach them on Flock’s differentiated proposition and help them win their first risks.
- Insurance Experience: 1+ year working in the insurance sector (e.g. underwriting, broking, sales, business development, partnerships, operations).
- Energy & Innovation: A hunger and desire to succeed. A curiosity and passion to learn. A winning mentality and the need to be a part of a great team
- Insurance Market Knowledge: A high-level understanding of insurance and the role of intermediaries within insurance sales cycles, ideally in commercial / B2B insurance but personal lines is fine too.
- A Sales Mentality: A hunger to drive sales and develop broker accounts.
- Relationship Builder: Great communication skills and a natural ability to build relationships with our network of new and existing brokers.
- Currently in, or has previously held, a sales role
- Worked within an organisation distributing products into the broker market
- An understanding of the motor fleet sales cycle

At Flock, we typically follow a hybrid working model involving a minimum of 3 days per week spent in the office, which is based in Central London, a few minutes walk from Moorgate and Liverpool Street.
