About This Position

Position Summary:
A Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing sales and maintaining relationships with specific customers and employees for J-Star. The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for sales towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth with customers in line with J-Star vision and values.

Essential Responsibilities:

* Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients and key accounts in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

* Manages the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals.

* Responsible for communicating the productions needs and costs to the key J-Star employees.

* Understands the products and addresses the needs and requirements of the customers.

* Negotiates the terms and conditions with clients to close deals.

* Identifies new business opportunities and working on product development projects.

* Keeps up to date with Market trends and conditions.

* Promotes vision by providing customers with creative and broad-based solutions to assist in achieving their goals.

* Works collectively with sales leaders and J-Star employees to ensure effective communication within the company.

* Assists in implementation of marketing plans.

* Works with divisions to coordinate sales activities and initiatives.

* Maintains accurate records of pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by sales team.

* Maintains contact with clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Non-Essential Responsibilities:

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

* Minimum High School diploma/GED required.

* Bachelors’ Degree required in Business Management or related field preferred.

* Strong professional sales and consultative skills, ability to build trusting and strong
relationships.

* Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques.

* Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

* Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

* Ability to travel up to 50%.

* Ability to function effectively in a cross-functional work environment.

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

* Ability to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

* Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
