About This Position
The Role at a Glance:
As a Sales and Client Services Intern, you will be an integral member of the Sales and Client Services team, working under the direct guidance and professional supervision of the SVP of Sales and SVP of Client Services. In this role, you will research, develop, and nurture high-quality, sales-ready prospects while building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective clients within assigned territories to support the Sales team’s growth efforts.
How You’ll Contribute:
You will work in and master key BD/CRM tools such as HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Navigator while prospecting and managing a national sales pipeline to support Hilldrup’s Workplace, Logistics, and Employee Mobility lines of business. You will proactively research, develop, nurture, and generate high-quality, sales-ready prospects across the entire U.S. and identify key executives and decision-makers within target organizations.
You will be leveraging sales automation and executing scalable, multi-channel outreach campaigns via email, phone, and social platforms. You will support the Sales team through pipeline development, preparation for in-person and virtual discovery meetings, and ongoing engagement. You will shadow sales leadership by participating in sales meetings, training sessions, and strategy discussions; you will analyze sales data and generate business line performance reports. In addition, you will collaborate with marketing on sales collateral to support growth objectives, research companies relocating or expanding throughout the U.S., monitor business journals for market activity, present insights and recommendations to leadership, identify relevant market trends and articles to strengthen the sales process, and assist Client Services with outreach initiatives including social media, mailings, and client gift campaigns.
