Manager - Strategic Planning and Analysis at Valleywise Health System – Phoenix, Arizona

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or similar) preferred.

Experience:

• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, budgeting, or financial analysis.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a healthcare environment (hospital, health system, or healthcare services organization).
• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.

• Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic analysis within a healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with Axiom and/or Strata financial planning platforms required.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling techniques; Power BI, Tableau, or SQL experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills with proven ability to influence and present to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex analyses, manage multiple priorities, and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Experience working in a matrixed healthcare system environment preferred.
