Accountabilities:- Collaborate with senior leadership to create and execute long-range corporate development strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Source, evaluate, and lead M&A transactions, strategic partnerships, and licensing agreements to drive growth and innovation.
- Manage end-to-end transaction processes including target identification, due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, and post-merger integration planning.
- Develop sophisticated financial models and business cases to quantify value creation and support executive decision-making.
- Coordinate with external advisors such as investment banks, consulting firms, and legal counsel to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
- Assess portfolio optimization opportunities, including divestitures and asset rationalization, to focus on high-value initiatives.
- Conduct market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and monitor industry trends to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and success of corporate initiatives.
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams and act as a strategic thought partner to the business.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in business, economics, life sciences, or a related field; MBA from a top-tier program strongly preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate strategy, business development, strategy consulting, M&A, investment banking, or related fields.
- Experience in a global life sciences organization; pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills, with advanced PowerPoint proficiency for executive presentations.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities, with the ability to influence and drive change in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-impact global organization.
