Tax Senior Associate - Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Who: A confidential, nationally respected public accounting firm seeking a skilled tax professional with strong technical expertise.
What: Prepare and review complex tax returns, support tax planning, assist audit teams, and provide guidance to associates.
When: Actively hiring for a full-time role.
Where: Hybrid position based in the Atlanta metro area with partial remote flexibility.

Position Overview:
The Tax Senior Associate will perform technical tax reviews, prepare federal and state filings, support tax planning initiatives, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with both the Tax and Business Assurance teams to deliver exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform technical tax reviews and support governmental tax examinations.
- Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns and information filings.
- Serve as a resource to tax associates and audit team members on tax-related issues.
- Ensure tax returns are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with applicable laws.
- Maintain a strong understanding of firm philosophy and tax positions.
- Communicate effectively with clients and manage deadlines.
- Participate in client meetings and tax planning sessions.
- Support the Audit team with larger clients when needed.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience preparing corporate, partnership, individual, and fiduciary tax returns in public accounting.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; Master’s in taxation preferred.
- CPA license highly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with CCH ProSystem fx or similar tax workflow software preferred.
- Client-service driven, collaborative, independent, and strong in communication and problem-solving.
