Remote Head of Front-End Engineering
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer - REMOTE. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and optimizing user experiences across web and mobile platforms. Your leadership will not only shape the architecture but also mentor a team to ensure scalability and performance. You will bridge the gap between mobile and web, ensure seamless integration of analytics, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the digital landscape for leading restaurant brands.
Accountabilities- Architect cross-platform experiences using React and Next.js.
- Scale and maintain a shared design system across multiple applications.
- Lead the development strategy utilizing a monorepo structure.
- Optimize performance focusing on SEO, accessibility, caching, and bundle size.
- Mentor engineers while guiding technical direction globally.
- Integrate analytics and experimentation efficiently.
- Collaborate with product, DevOps, and design teams to deliver high-quality outputs.
- 810+ years in software engineering with a focus on team leadership.
- Proven experience in web and mobile ecosystems.
- Strong background in building scalable applications and design systems.
- Ability to lead architectural decisions and produce high-quality code.
- Excellent communication skills across technical and business audiences.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent real-world experience.
- Base Salary: $220,000$290,000.
