Yard Supervisor

Location: Salt Lake City, UT with additional oversight of yards in Ogden, Spanish Fork and Farr West

Hourly Pay: $29.50 – $32.45 per hour (DOE)

Schedule: Full-Time (OT & some weekends required)

Why This Role Matters

The Yard Supervisor leads daily operations in the Honey Bucket yard, ensuring our units are cleaned, repaired, and ready for service. This role sets the pace for the yard team—driving productivity, maintaining quality standards, and keeping the operation organized and efficient.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily yard operations, including the cleaning, repair, and maintenance of Honey Bucket units
• Lead, coach, and motivate the yard team to maintain high productivity and quality standards
• Monitor inventory and supplies to keep operations running smoothly
• Set clear expectations and provide coaching for continuous improvement
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
• Occasionally assist with routes, pick-ups, or deliveries when needed

What You Bring to the Team

• Leadership ability and a willingness to step up and lead by example
• Previous supervisory experience preferred, but strong leadership skills are essential
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor vehicle or equipment issues (lights, brakes, basic repairs)
• Experience working with tools and equipment
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• A passion for teaching, coaching, and developing others

Safety Sensitive Position

This position is considered safety sensitive and requires:

• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review
• DOT physical
• Fit-for-duty assessment
• Participation in random drug screening
