HTI is seeking a Relief Production Supervisor who is a dynamic, hands-on leader with a proven ability to drive performance, ensure quality, and foster a culture of safety and teamwork. This is a direct hire opportunity for a flexible leadership role supporting both day and night shift operations. The Relief Production Supervisor will rotate between 6AM–6PM and 6PM–6AM schedules based on business needs, typically remaining on one shift for several weeks before rotating to the opposite shift. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is comfortable supporting multiple teams across shifts.
The position base is $60,000–$75,000/year with opportunity to make up to $100,000/year with overtime and a $5,000 hiring bonus (half paid at 3 months and 6 months).

5+ years of manufacturing or production management experience (food production preferred)
Hands-on experience with yeast-raised bakery products is a plus
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Advanced organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
Computer literacy required; JD Edwards, SAP, or IR scanner experience preferred
Commitment to safety awareness, including reporting incidents and maintaining OSHA compliance
Ability and willingness to work both day and night shifts on a rotating basis depending on operational needs
The Relief Production Supervisor plays a key role in leading, training, and managing production teams across both day and night shifts to meet operational goals in a high-volume food manufacturing environment. This individual ensures compliance with quality, safety, and sanitation standards while driving performance and continuous improvement initiatives while providing leadership coverage where needed most.
Supervise and schedule production team members to achieve daily output and quality objectives
Provide leadership support for both day and night shift teams based on production needs
Monitor and enhance production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
Ensure compliance with GMP, SQF, FDA, and OSHA standards
Coach and mentor employees to promote engagement, development, and accountability
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve production challenges and optimize workflow
Manage raw material inventory and coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to maintain optimal operations
Promote a culture of safety by enforcing company policies and leading by example
Document and report production data, incidents, and process improvements
