ASC Engineered Solutions is looking for a Project Manager to support our Columbia, PA manufacturing facility. The Project Manager – Capital Expenditures (CapEx) is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering capital projects within a manufacturing facility. This role manages the full project lifecycle—including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, contractor oversight, equipment installation, and project closeout while ensuring alignment with safety, quality, production, and financial objectives.

Project Manager
ASC Engineered Solutions is looking for a Project Manager to support our Columbia, PA manufacturing facility. The Project Manager – Capital Expenditures (CapEx) is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering capital projects within a manufacturing facility. This role manages the full project lifecycle—including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, contractor oversight, equipment installation, and project closeout while ensuring alignment with safety, quality, production, and financial objectives.
How You Will Help
- Lead the end-to-end management of CapEx projects ranging from $100K–$20M annually.
- Develop detailed project scopes, schedules, budgets, funding requests, and risk assessments.
- Oversee design, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and validation activities.
- Manage communication among operations, engineering, maintenance, EHS, finance, and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.
- Prepare and manage capital budgets, cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and spending reports.
- Track and control project costs to ensure delivery within approved budgets.
- Lead competitive bidding, vendor selection, and contract negotiation.
- Support finance with asset capitalization and project closeout.
- Lead project safety planning in partnership with EHS.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA, environmental regulations, and internal safety standards.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing CapEx projects from $10–$20 million.
- Strong understanding of industrial equipment, utilities, and facility systems.
- PMP, PE, or Six Sigma certification.
