Senior Quality Engineer, Quality Management

We are currently looking for a Senior Quality Engineer, Quality Management in Asia.In this role, you will lead initiatives to strengthen quality management systems across manufacturing sites, ensuring operational excellence and product integrity. You will serve as a coach and subject matter expert, providing guidance, training, and analytical insights to quality teams and factory personnel. This position requires a strategic mindset, enabling you to influence process improvements, prevent defects, and optimize quality performance. You will work cross-functionally with design, product development, and regional quality teams to implement best practices and resolve complex quality challenges. The role offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact on product quality and operational efficiency across multiple locations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Accountabilities:
  • Collaborate with Tech Design and Product Development teams to establish action plans for critical quality areas.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance for high-risk programs, including conducting factory audits and assessments.
  • Mentor and train factory quality teams and regional quality associates on process improvements, QMS standards, and preventive measures such as 5S and FPA.
  • Analyze quality KPIs, identify root causes, and partner with regional teams to develop corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive regional quality improvement projects, ensuring alignment with global standards and best practices.
  • Build relationships with vendors, factory management, and internal stakeholders to promote a culture of quality and operational excellence.
  • Participate in RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for complex product and process issues and validate the effectiveness of corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Quality Management, Footwear, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 58 years of experience in quality management, preferably in footwear or consumer goods manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and apply data-driven solutions to address operational challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Vietnamese or Chinese is a plus.
  • Experience leading training, coaching, and mentoring initiatives in a multi-site or cross-cultural environment.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at various levels and foster collaboration across teams.
