Responsibilities
The Emergency Room (ER) Tech/ Unit Coordinator provides basic patient care under the direction of licensed nursing and/or physician staff as assigned. Performs direct and indirect diagnostic, therapeutic, administrative, service and other tasks as appropriate to facilitate safe, quality patient care while ensuring efficient, smooth functioning unit operations. Applies knowledge and understanding of principles of patient growth and development in patient and family interactions to care for patients. Provides administrative support as defined.
