CNC Milling Operator at Enjet Aero, LLC – Terre Haute, Indiana

Position Description:

Operate various types of vertical and/or horizontal 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC Milling machines and Lathes under the direction of the area supervisor.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Operation of production processes
• In-process inspection of parts with provided gages
• Comparing production parts to drawing specifications and troubleshooting/reporting machine and production process issues to supervisor
• Produces at quantity and quality levels in accordance with Company’s requirements
• Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time, etc according to Company’s policy
• Maintains area, workbenches, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly condition
• Follow all Company policies, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety, and security

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; certificate in relevant discipline is a plus
• 3+ years experience machining
• Must be able to perform basic production shop mathematics
• Must have knowledge of machining principles and various machining technologies
• Must be able to perform tool changes
• Must be able to operate precision measurement tools
• Must have strong understanding of standard CNC controllers HAAS or FANUC
• Must be able to understand and follow instructions in English
• Must be able to understand and interpret blueprints
• Must have demonstrated mechanical ability
• Must be able to maintain close attention to detail and accuracy
• Must be able to manage time effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
