Account Manager, Producer Services at Circular Action Alliance – Remote

Role Overview
As part of CAA’s Producer Services team, the Account Manager, plays a critical role in ensuring producer participation, regulatory compliance, and reporting accuracy across assigned accounts. This role is responsible for day-to-day account management, onboarding, and compliance support for producers, report validation, working closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality service and operational excellence.
The Account Manager for Producer Services will play a vital role in supporting the registration and compliance of producers within the organization. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth execution of producer services, from initial registration to ongoing account management. The Account Manager will work closely with producers to facilitate data reporting, fee invoicing, and compliance with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws. This role will also contribute to the development and improvement of systems and processes that support producer services.
Key Responsibilities
Producer Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist in identifying and qualifying non-registered producers subject to EPR obligations, supporting outreach and onboarding activities.
- Communicate the organization’s value proposition and regulatory requirements to producers, ensuring a smooth transition into compliance programs.
- Coordinate with internal teams for onboarding, account setup, and initial engagement of new producers.
Producer Compliance Support
- Support producers through the full compliance lifecycle, including onboarding, registration, data submission, and payment for all relevant EPR programs.
- Monitor account status, track deadlines, and proactively identify and resolve compliance risks, escalating issues as needed.
- Issue notifications and reminders to producers regarding reporting and compliance requirements.
Account Management & Relationship Building
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned producers, ensuring ongoing engagement, satisfaction, and support.
- Maintain accurate records of producer interactions, account status, and compliance milestones.
- Conduct proactive, regular account reviews and coordinate follow-ups based on producer feedback or identified challenges.
- Maintain clear, compliant, and high-quality communications that fosters trust, while ensuring all messaging adheres to CAA standards.
Reporting & Data Validation
- Support producers in preparing and submitting required reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to organizational and program standards.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies by coordinating corrective actions, clarifications, and necessary data adjustments.
- Provide feedback on reporting tools, templates, and guidance to drive continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Partner with internal stakeholders (CRM, Data Governance, Support Ops) to ensure smooth handoffs and aligned service delivery.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of standard operating procedures (SOPs), account workflows, and compliance checklists.
- Act as the “voice of the account” to help shape internal priorities and system enhancements.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- 5–7 years’ relevant experience, including 3+ years in account management, client services, regulatory compliance, or packaging sustainability.
- Background in consumer products, retail, or regulated/mission-driven sectors (e.g., environment, SaaS, healthcare) preferred.
- Familiarity with EPR policy or compliance processes a plus.
- Experience in startups or new organizations valued.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Compensation & Other Information
- Location: Fully Remote
- Pay Rate: Based on a variety of factors in accordance with applicable law including the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge and experience.
- Reports To: Account Director
