You will also have the opportunity to influence leadership decisions by providing clear insights and recommendations based on investigation findings.Accountabilities
  • Consult with management and legal counsel to resolve complex compliance issues.
  • Evaluate allegations to identify potential violations of laws and policies.
  • Plan and conduct confidential internal investigations, from strategy to conclusion.
  • Document and review witness interviews and investigation reports.
  • Identify risks and communicate remedial actions to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure timely implementation of disciplinary measures.
  • Manage multiple projects and prioritize execution effectively.
  • Maintain organized case files in accordance with best practices.
  • Prepare clear investigation plans and reports.
  • Guide junior investigation staff and participate in cross-functional meetings.
  • Communicate with regulatory bodies as necessary.
  • Support the development of Corporate Compliance policies and processes.
  • Engage in special projects like auditing and training.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Law, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Juris Doctorate preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in complex investigations or auditing.
  • In-depth knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations.
  • Prosecutorial experience preferred, particularly within large organizations or federal agencies.
  • Experience as a Certified Fraud Investigator is a plus.
