About This Position

We are a Property Management Company looking to add to our Management Team. Working mostly in high-end condominiums located in Portland's beautiful Pearl District. This job requires a person who is reliable and self-motivated.


Position Summary

The Community Manager supports the Lead Concierge and on-site team in the delivery of customer services and building operations to the standards of a five-star building. This position assists the Portfolio Manager in creating and executing the association’s annual management plan. In addition, The Community Manager is expected to provide on-site services to the association including creating building notices, completing monthly inspections, scheduling and meeting with vendors, and receiving and responding to inquiries from homeowners and the Board of Directors. The efforts of the Community Manager are supported and supervised by the Portfolio Manager. Kin Living Concierge staff report directly to the Community Portfolio Manager, who is responsible for ensuring that the management team provides five-star services.

Work hours: Total of 40 work hours per week, unless overtime is approved. Schedule may fluctuate based on board meeting attendance and concierge desk coverage needs. Job requires weekly on-site visits as required and scheduled.

Duties and Responsibilities

    • Management of concierge team performance, including scheduling, hiring and training.
    • Ensure the building front desk is covered for all open hours per the building operating procedures.
    • Perform Concierge duties while at the front desk.
    • Conduct Monthly on-site staff meetings.
    • Provide training for on-site systems and access controls.
    • Provide direct customer support (tier 2), such as assisting with resident portal use, answering incoming customer telephone calls and responding to emails.
    • Assist in the implementation and performance of the Budget.
    • Attend and take action requested at all regular and annual meetings
    • Manage vendor relationships, communication and performance evaluation.
    • Prepare Solution Recommendation forms for Board execution.
    • Obtain bids and for common area maintenance and submit work orders for common area repairs as necessary.
    • Conduct bi-weekly property inspections and vendor quality assurance follow-up.
    • Write/publish and distribute notices and violations.
    • Meet with the Portfolio Manager and/or Sr. Portfolio Manager at least weekly to review the status of projects, areas where assistance is needed, training etc.

    • Face to face customer interaction
    • Flex schedule
    • Flex work environment - work done remotely, in the corporate office or at the Property
    • Responsible for on-site staff schedules and coverage
    • Job requires weekly on-site visits as required and scheduled.
    • After hours requirement for:
      • Board meetings
      • Property emergencies
      • Staff no-shows

The pay range for this role is:
55,000 - 65,000 USD per year(Oregon)
