Job Summary:
The Account Manager maintains direct contact with customers and prospective customers to ensure a steady flow of business and work to sustain and grow the business. This role involves understanding client needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Account Manager will work closely with customers to identify opportunities and properly estimate and propose solutions.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, understand customer needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions.
- Maintain existing relationships through calls, meetings, and social events.
New Business Development
- Hold customer meetings to identify and present opportunities for business.
- Develop new business through networking, research, analysis, cold calling, etc.
Strategic Planning
- Perform site walks to gather data and assess project feasibility.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive client satisfaction.
Product Knowledge
- Comprehend electrical drawings and specifications to quality opportunities.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the offered products and services; educate clients about the benefits and features of the offered products and services
Administrative Tasks
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Manage CRM data to enable accurate pipeline predictions.
Additional responsibilities and tasks as required to support the organization's goals and adapt to evolving business needs.
Attributes/Abilities:
- Must have a satisfactory background/MVR check.
- Strong interpersonal and social skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems.
- Knowledge of electrical power systems.
- Highly organized.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to overcome objections and solve problems to win business.
Experience and Education:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- 1-3 years of experience in account management or sales.
Physical Requirements:
- Some local travel required; must have reliable transportation, possess a valid driver’s license, and be insurable.
- Must have a suitable home office or workspace.
- This is an office desk position with no significant physical exertion required.
