About This Position
The Club at Crazy Mountain Ranch is a private membership experience set on 18,000 extraordinary acres in the state of Montana. Take one part working ranch, combine with golf, lodging, great food, and drink plus everything else there is to see and do and you’ve got something beyond special. We are in the midst of building a premier private golf resort, home to Coore and Crenshaw designed, 7200-yard, links style and 14-hole par 3 courses.

Position Summary
The purpose of the PGM Intern is to provide assistance and knowledge for all aspects of Golf Operations while providing members and their guests with the highest level of customer service and aesthetics through organization and tidiness.
Major Responsibilities:
- Ensure that each member and guest receive outstanding guest service in a guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every member and guest, maintaining outstanding service standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
- Empowered to guarantee total guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism when engaging with our guests at all times, take pride in representing Crazy Mountain Ranch professionally with our members and guests and assure that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal and ethical manner.
- Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for employees, Members, and guests always. In the event of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention if necessary and contact the General Manager or Human Resources immediately.
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a positive working environment.

- Set-up and ensure the cleanliness, organization and upkeep of the golf course driving range.
- Assist in the set-up, maintenance and breakdown of the golf cart staging area.
- Approach all encounters with Members, guests, and fellow employees in a gracious, attentive, courteous and service-oriented manner.
- Respect all Members privacy, perspective, priorities, time and resources.
- Prep and maintain the equipment (including power carts and rental clubs) and work areas are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all golf equipment is in good, safe working condition, to ensure the safe and efficient operation.
- Assist in maintaining a tracking system for the power cart fleet including usage, maintenance and proper rotation.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the range machine and picker and to ensure that golfers receive friendly and efficient guest service.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established Club policies, procedures, and standards of service to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
- Meet departmental productivity, organization, punctuality/attendance and consistency standards.
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
- Treat Members, guests, vendors, customers and co-workers with professionalism and respect always.
- Maintain privacy of our Members at all time.
- Always maintain a clean and neat appearance.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with all employees, supervisors, managers and directors.

- Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.

Qualifications/Skills:
- High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work; One to two years’ experience in customer service; Strong verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge in the game of golf; Knowledge in all facets of the Golf Industry.
- Valid State Driver’s License
- Basic Understanding of Jonas POS; Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Able to speak clearly and effectively with Members, guests, co-workers, vendors and other company departments. Able to write clearly and legibly.
- Able to perform basic math calculations.
- Ability to solve basic problems and/or know when it is necessary to get a manager to assist in problem solving.
