This isa fast-paced, service-oriented role ideal for a motivated student with apassion for sustainability and helping others.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Communicating parking, transportation, and bike valet information to customers
- Handling cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely
- Supporting the Bike Valet program, including:
- Standing for extended periods (up to 4+ hours)
- Operating outdoors in all weather conditions
- Tagging and retrieving bicycles efficiently and carefully
- Assisting with special events, including evenings and weekends
- Staffing the Transportation Information Center in the Student Union Building (SUB)
- Performing data entry and helping maintain customer records and files
- Participating in promotional and sustainability-related outreach activities
- Completing other duties as assigned to support the department
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a currentstudent at the University of New Mexico enrolled in at least 6 credit hours, ina degree seeking program.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment.
- Availability to work at least a 4-hour shifts
