Job Description

Description:

Electrical Engineer – Korean Bilingual

Taylor, TX

About Us Founded in South Korea in 2002, Doota IT has since been operating in over 50 customer sites worldwide. With our Round Rock office launching in 2019 we have the ability to offer the best of both worlds: the agility of a start-up and the stability of an enterprise. We are most proud of being recognized by the South Korean Prime Minister for our contributions to commerce and industry growth, positioning us as an industry leader. Join forces with esteemed partners such as Samsung, LG, HP, SK Innovation, and Hyundai as we continue to make strides in the realm of environmental CEMS, encompassing design, measuring instrument delivery and installation, datalogger, FEP, monitoring systems, and CEMS room construction. With Doota Industrial America, the sky is the limit. Join us and take part in crafting the future. Your extraordinary journey begins now!

This Opportunity We are currently supporting large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects, and looking for an Electrical Engineer who will design, install, and commission electrical systems required for complex construction environments. You will ensure that power distribution, control systems, and automated equipment are integrated seamlessly across project sites. This person is not just an "office engineer." The perfect person for this role will love taking their designs from a high-powered workstation directly to the field, seeing schematics come to life on active construction sites. This person will have a balance of focused design time and active "boots-on-the-ground" site visits and will enjoy that no two weeks will look exactly the same.

What You'll Do

  • System Design: Develop single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, panel schedules, and load calculations for industrial and commercial facilities.
  • Power Distribution: Design and oversee installation of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, and distribution panels in compliance with NEC and IEC standards.
  • Control & Automation: Program and configure PLCs, motor control centers (MCCs), and variable frequency drives (VFDs); integrate with SCADA systems for remote monitoring and control.
  • Field Installation & Commissioning: Supervise electrical contractors during cable pulling, terminations, grounding, and equipment startup; perform acceptance testing and verification.
  • Protection & Coordination: Conduct arc flash analysis, fault current calculations, and relay coordination studies to ensure personnel safety and system reliability.
  • Project Collaboration: Work alongside civil, mechanical, and I&C teams to resolve design conflicts, review submittals, and ensure electrical scope aligns with overall project objectives.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment faults, insulation failures, grounding issues, and control logic errors in the field.
  • Documentation: Produce and maintain as-built drawings, equipment data sheets, inspection reports, and O&M manuals.

What We Offer · Health, Vision & Dental · Company Match 3% · Vacation, Sick Time & Holidays · Internal Mobility · Unlimited Development Opportunities · Themed Company Workdays · Team Outings

Who We Are At Doota Industrial America, we foster a vibrant environment that nurtures creativity, collaboration, and professional growth.
