Position_Description :
We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our team on Kauai. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in the field environment and is eager to take initiative, manage multiple responsibilities, and support the successful execution of complex civil projects.
What You’ll Do
As a Project Engineer, you’ll work closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and field teams to support daily operations and keep projects moving forward.
Responsibilities include:
- Track field quantities and production to support project reporting and forecasting
- Assist with daily reports, photo documentation, and project records
- Coordinate materials, deliveries, and inventory tracking
- Support RFI and submittal tracking and maintain organized project documentation
- Assist with SWPPP compliance and environmental documentation
- Work alongside field crews and project leadership to resolve issues impacting schedule or quality
- Support safety efforts and help maintain a strong jobsite safety culture
- Assist with punch lists, as-built documentation, and project closeout

Position Requirements :
Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in heavy civil construction (roadways, utilities, grading, sitework)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with AutoCAD, HeavyJob, and Viewpoint V6 a plus
- Highly organized, self-driven, and detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with a strong sense of field awareness and construction processes
