Press Brake Operator at CV-Tek – ELGIN, Illinois

This position will work within our fabrication team. The Press Brake operator will read and interpret blueprints to best plan bending operations for stainless steel parts. The operator will make necessary adjustments to facilitate operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works with supervisor to ensure required product is produced.
• Maintain strict tolerances based on engineering requirements.
• Knows and observes all safety rules and precautions for safe operation of machines.
• Ability to read blueprints and make setups from blueprints.
• Able to use test instruments, such as steel rule, caliper, protractor and micrometers.
• Communicate effectively to ensure processes and procedures are followed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 Years’ experience operating a press brake
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
