Role details:
- Full time Monday - Friday
- On site at our Las Vegas fulfillment centre
Key Responsibilities:
- Training and coaching a team of team leads, warehouse associates and MHE drivers to maintain high productivity and accuracy standards;
- Ensuring high levels of process adherence and order quality through floor audits, pick/pack accuracy reviews, and cycle count reconciliations;
- Monitoring and reporting key fulfillment KPIs to management, including units per hour, order accuracy rate, on-time shipment rate, and inventory shrinkage;
- Fostering a culture of workplace safety, ergonomic best practices, high service levels, and productivity across all warehouse zones;
- Overseeing health and safety training and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations specific to warehouse environments (forklift operation, racking safety etc.);
- Leading team check-ins/huddles and communicating updates on company policies, SLA targets, and daily operational priorities;
- Coordinating, assigning, and reviewing the work of employees engaged in receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, replenishment, and inventory management; coordinating workflow across fulfillment zones; scheduling labor by shift and volume forecast;
- Overseeing daily space and labor utilization across the fulfillment center, planning efficient slotting strategies and staffing levels based on order volume and SKU velocity;
- Delegating and participating in on-site responsibilities including receiving inbound freight, verifying purchase orders, directing putaway, and supporting packing and shipping operations;
- Leading team development and cultivating values of operational excellence, accuracy, and professionalism across all fulfillment functions;
- Engaging in strategic planning and volume forecasting; appraising team performance, resolving operational bottlenecks, and addressing staffing needs in response to seasonal demand or growth;
- Ensuring the smooth execution of daily fulfillment operations across inbound, storage, outbound, and returns processing;
- Requisitioning packaging supplies, materials handling equipment, and warehouse consumables;
- Ensuring proper operation of warehouse equipment and machinery including conveyors, forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners;
- May perform the same duties as workers supervised, including picking, packing, and receiving.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in fulfillment operations, and logistics;
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., MBA, PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus;
- 3+ years of managerial experience in a warehouse setting with the ability to execute management directives during a time of exponential growth and to supervise a team;
- Experience in B2C deliveries and fulfillment in a large facility;
- Exceptional time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in order to adhere to critical business deadlines;
- High degree of technological literacy;
- Exceptional customer service skills and a demonstrated capacity for interfacing with large, multi-million-dollar clients;
- Experience with inventory management systems and stock taking;
- Excellent conflict resolution skills, including the ability to de-escalate/mediate conflicts;
- Proven leader in professional team development;
- Strong decision-making ability;
- Have a valid forklift license (an asset not a requirement);
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
