About the Role:

The Regional Operations Manager will provide oversight regarding daily operations, training, safety, spearhead recruitment and manpower management in the Greater Phoenix region. They align regional goals with ComNet Communications corporate strategy, mentor staff, and work as a point of contact for local GCs, design firm and enterprise customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations including logistics, recruitment, training project oversight and enforcing our Safety Always culture. Provide region with appropriate staff, tools, resources, and direction required to fulfill business, and operational goals. Manage and direct division staff to maintain close contact with project stakeholders during all phases of negotiated contracts.

Financial Management: Prepare and present regular operational performance reports and business outcomes to senior management, highlighting regional insights. Drive profitability by analyzing financial performance and implementing growth strategies tailored to specific region. Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

Leadership: Support and encourage the team to successfully complete projects safely, on time and on budget. Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to all staff members that creates excitement and employee engagement to assist with reaching corporate goals.

Business Development/Marketing: Represent company in new business opportunities through contacts with parties who are critical to the decision process. Secure follow-up work with existing clients based on performance. Partner with Executive Director, Sales by providing regional insight into sales opportunities. Generate new customers and identify business opportunities to expand market presence across all region.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 15 plus years in cabling or construction management some college preferred
  • Experience creating a “Safety Always” culture through training, education and industry trends
  • Proven success managing profitable large-scale telecommunication/construction projects in multiple markets and disciplines
  • 7 plus years’ experience creating new processes and procedures that enable for efficient business practices
  • Strong leadership skills around building teams and creating successful cultures
  • Strong success with customer interface and sales at the executive level
  • Ability to influence and penetrate enterprise accounts
  • Strong communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of estimating and project management of large scale ($1MM plus) construction projects.
