The Job
The Warehouse Lead oversees and coordinates the daily operations within the distribution center. This role works closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and leads a team of Warehouse Associates, ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and accurately.

The Opportunity- Supervision:
Provide daily direction to Warehouse Associates within inbound operations, including receiving, putaway, slotting, and cubiscan. Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to standard work. - Receiving & Inbound Flow:
Oversee the receiving process from dock to system, ensuring product is received accurately, timely, and in alignment with vendor and internal requirements. Monitor workload and adjust labor to maintain flow. - Inventory Accuracy:
Ensure inventory accuracy through proper receiving, putaway, and system transactions. Support cycle counts, research discrepancies, and drive root cause resolution. - Slotting & Optimization:
Lead slotting activities by ensuring products are placed in optimal locations based on velocity, size, and operational efficiency. Partner with leadership to improve layout and space utilization. - Cubiscan & Item Setup:
Oversee cubiscan processes to ensure accurate product dimensions and weights are captured. Validate data integrity and troubleshoot issues impacting downstream operations. - Quality Assurance:
Verify inbound product meets quality and compliance standards. Identify vendor issues, damages, or discrepancies and ensure proper documentation and escalation. - Training:
Train and onboard Warehouse Associates on inbound processes, equipment, and safety protocols. Reinforce standard work and support ongoing development. - Problem-Solving:
Act as the first point of contact for inbound issues, identifying root causes and driving timely resolution to minimize disruption to operations. - Safety:
Promote and enforce a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with safety standards, conducting audits, and addressing hazards immediately. - Reporting & Communication:
Track and communicate inbound performance metrics (receiving volume, productivity, errors, etc.). Provide updates to leadership and escalate risks as needed. - Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure safe and proper use of equipment; report and follow up on maintenance needs. - Collaboration:
Partner with Warehouse Supervisor and cross-functional teams to support operational goals and continuous improvement. - Other duties as assigned
The Must Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education is a plus.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and inventory tracking systems.

The base wage for this role ranges from $20.00 hr to $23.49/hr. Where you land in that range depends on your skills and experience, and we also factor in internal pay equity. While the full range is listed for this role, we rarely hire at the top of the range, leaving room for professional and financial growth in role.
