Summary:
This is a temporary position. Provides clerical support in a guest service friendly, efficient and profitable manner that promotes superior staff, guest and vendor relations.
Essential Functions:
• Provides a high standard of professionalism and guest service.
• Sorts, files and performs other basic clerical duties as assigned.
• Runs errands, post signs, etc.
• Administrative support: handling data entry, filing documents, and organizing meeting rooms
• Digital management: Assisting IT Manger with the website content
• Meeting participation: Attending team meetings to take minutes, shadowing senior staff during client call, and contributing ideas during brainstorming sessions.
• Project assistance: Helping with the digitizing and organization of CTFC records, logging and physical inventory of CTFC assets and assisting in event planning and coordination.
• Maintains confidentiality, as required by law, regulation, and policy.
• Operates and maintains office equipment, including but not limited to, computer, telephone system, fax machine, multi-use photocopier and document binding machine.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Minimum Qualifications):
• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Ability to understand, speak, communicate and read the English language.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to analyze data from multiple information ports by comparing and contrasting data to draw a conclusion or to identify trends.
• Ability to work various shifts including evenings, holidays, weekends, and overtime.
• Ability to comprehend and apply policies and procedures.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Must be computer literate with proficiency in Windows based programs.
• Ability to operate office equipment.
• Ability to perform tasks with speed and accuracy.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to obtain a valid Tribal Gaming License.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must successfully complete Title 31, Banking Secrecy Act training, if applicable, upon hire and annually.
• Ability to communicate professionally in written, verbal, and non-verbal format while portraying a
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
• Manual and finger dexterity as required to perform daily job duties.
• Ability to frequently sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to occasionally walk or stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to frequently bend, squat and reach.
• Ability to frequently push and pull 10 pounds.
• Ability to seldom push and pull 50 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to be given verbal and written instruction and apply the instruction accurately.
• Sufficient visual acuity to write, recognize printed materials, computer screen, and notice non-verbal behavior.
• Speech and hearing ability to project voice to small and large audiences, carry on telephone conversations, hear and grasp verbal communications and equipment prompts.
• Ability to drive in adverse weather conditions.
• Periodically exposed to high levels of noise and tobacco smoke.
