RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and coordinate all aspects of composite lamination from raw material kitting through departing of cured components.
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met
• Assign work, manage crew scheduling in accordance with production needs, and monitor team performance
• Train and mentor technicians in composite layup best practices, mold/tool preparation, and material handling
• Collaborate with engineering and quality to resolve issues and improve processes
• Maintain tooling and material readiness
• Enforce company policies and procedures, supporting a positive and accountable culture

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing (preferred in aerospace layup using various techniques including VARTM, wet layup, and oven and/or autoclaved prepregs)
• Proven ability to lead a team of 5-10 individuals with clear communication and expectations
• High school diploma or equivalent desired but not mandatory; additional technical education in a relevant field preferred
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, process specifications, and engineering drawings
• Familiarity with AS9100 requirements and aerospace manufacturing documentation is a plus
